    Before sending any data to our AI provider (Google Gemini), Careerly automatically replaces personal identifiers (e.g., your full name, email, phone number, address) with neutral placeholder tokens. This ensures Google Gemini never receives your actual personal details.
  • Account & Authentication: To register your account, manage logins, and maintain preferences.
  • Payments: To process purchases securely through Stripe. We never store your credit card details.
  • Improvement & Analytics: To improve functionality, diagnose problems, and enhance user experience.

4. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell your data. We only share information with trusted service providers when necessary to run our platform:

  • Google Gemini (Anonymized Data Only): Used for AI-powered suggestions and content generation. Personal identifiers are removed before sending text to Gemini.
  • Stripe: Used for secure payments and billing. Stripe handles payment data independently.
  • Hosting & Infrastructure: We use providers such as Vercel and Neon/PostgreSQL to store and serve data securely.

We retain your data only as long as your account is active or as required to provide our services. You may delete your resumes or your entire account at any time from your dashboard, which permanently removes your data from our systems.
